Our Story"Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee” (Genesis 12:1).
Pastor Henry G. Young answered the call to be the pastor of Restoration Worship Center (COGIC) after God confirmed this new assignment with signs and visions. After Elder Young had served for many years in the ministry, he answered "Yes, to the will of the Lord." Restoration Worship Center is not about Elder Young it is about winning souls for the kingdom of God and helping people become transformed by the power of God.
One morning while Elder Young was praying he was given the name Restoration Worship Center, and the supporting scripture "The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10). The desire of Elder Young is to fulfill the plan of God for his life.
With the blessing of Bishop Robert Robert L. Webbs, Sr. (Greater New Hampshire Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction), Elder Young became pastor. He was joined in prayer, planning, and preparation by his wife Evangelist Tammy Young. Time after time, God showed His favor by opening doors to make this become a reality and with much prayer and fasting God will continue to add to the church.
Restoration Worship Center COGIC was officially setup according to the leading of the Lord. After Elder Young accepted the position to become the pastor, he started a celebrate recovery group to help people living with an addiction to drugs. From the very beginning, the presence of the Lord has been in this place. Restoration Worship Center does not want to be known as a church with one ethnicity but a multicultural church that can reach out and love anyone. Restoration Worship Center is a church where everyone is treated like someone and no one will be judged by anyone.
